Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your condition, its severity, and how your body responds to treatment. Most acute conditions improve within 6–12 sessions, while chronic or post-surgical cases may require a longer programme. Dr. Gupta will give you a clear treatment timeline after the initial assessment.

Does physiotherapy hurt?

Treatment is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Some manual therapy techniques or exercises may cause mild temporary discomfort, especially in the first few sessions — this is normal as muscles and joints adapt. Dr. Gupta always adjusts the intensity to your tolerance level.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-fracture rehabilitation, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, MS, frozen shoulder, knee pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, lymphedema, and more. View our full services list.

Cancer Rehabilitation

What is cancer rehabilitation?

Cancer rehabilitation focuses on recovering strength, function, and quality of life during or after cancer treatment. It addresses side effects such as fatigue, weakness, lymphedema, neuropathy, reduced mobility, and breathing difficulties. Dr. Gupta works alongside your oncology team to ensure safe, effective recovery.

Can I start rehab while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation?

Yes — in many cases, beginning rehabilitation during active treatment actually helps manage side effects better. Dr. Gupta will review your treatment plan and medical status to design a programme appropriate for your current phase of care.
